Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for orders placed on Aether.
1. Cancelling an Order (Before Payment)
Orders can be cancelled anytime before payment with no charges.
2. Cancelling an Order (After Payment)
After payment, cancellations are discouraged because pharmacies begin processing orders immediately. However, a cancellation may still be possible in the following cases:
- The partner pharmacy cancels the order due to stock unavailability.
- A delivery partner is unavailable to deliver the medicines.
3. Refund Eligibility
A full refund will be issued if:
- The pharmacy cancels the order.
- Delivery partners are unable to deliver the order.
- The medicines delivered are incorrect, missing, or damaged.
In all other cases, refunds are subject to pharmacy approval, and Aether will request a refund on the customer's behalf.
4. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original mode of payment. Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 working days, subject to bank and payment gateway timelines.
